These type of decals are perfect for a flat wall, if your wall has some texture to it, they don't stick well. Ours started coming off within a month but it wasn't bad enough for me to take down my son's hero. The only thing I don't like is that they are not something you can take with you when you move and since we're military, I don't think we'll be buying these again.
